Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of student management in Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri). This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Serang as one of the State Madrasah Aliyah in Banten Province. A descriptive qualitative approach was used as the method in this study. The data were collected through three techniques from Miles and Huberman: observation, interview, and documentation. Direct interviews were conducted with the principal, vice-principal for curriculum, vice-principal for student affairs, and teachers as informants. Study data were analyzed using three stages: reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The study findings describe that the implementation of student management in the school is exemplary. This study concludes that student management that has been implemented is optimal in supporting 21st-century learning. The research findings recommend that student management be implemented based on moral nature.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the satisfaction of fieldwork practice partners (PKL) on student performance. The research method used is a combination of sequential explanatory models or designs, wherein the first stage of the research was carried out by quantitative methods and the second stage by qualitative methods. The instruments analyzed are aspects of the quality of activities, aspects of Human Resource Competence (HR), and aspects of activity productivity. The results of the three aspects that have been analyzed received excellent and positive responses. For this reason, it can be said that the instruments used in this study were appropriate. It can be proven that the quality of activity quality (KMK) received a good and positive response of as much as 68%. In addition, the satisfaction of partner companies with the Productivity of PKL activities has a positive relationship of 62.5%. Meanwhile, the satisfaction of partner companies concerning Human Resource Competence (KSDM) also has an excellent positive relationship of 68.8%. Efforts to maintain and improve student performance and partner satisfaction are tangible manifestations of creating better student performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the role of school stakeholders in processing student grades using the e-report application. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, namely observation by observing the website and using the website directly. Interviews were conducted with informants regarding the use of applications and documentation of reports issued from applications to school stakeholders who now participate in the use of e-reports. The data analysis technique was carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results show that the role of school stakeholders in the use of interconnected e-reports starts from the administrative field in data collection, teachers in data entry, curriculum fields in checking data, and BP teachers who enter student attendance to get to the parents. The existence of this E-report application shows the discipline and perseverance of the stakeholders in controlling IT. The processing of the scores on this e-report will also be copied into the student's master book, and later the results of this assessment will be submitted to the Surabaya City Education Office for nomination with other schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of revitalizing the leadership of madrasah principals in improving the quality of education units in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in the West Aceh Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to revealing the factual conditions of the revitalization of madrasah leadership in improving the quality of education. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies on reports of madrasa activities. Data analysis techniques for research results are carried out by interpreting and designing action plans on research results. The results show that the head of MTs West Aceh has not optimally improved the quality of functions in revitalizing the synergy and harmony among teachers and employees in improving the quality of education units, revitalizing processes, tools, and learning media in improving the quality of education units and revitalizing the participation of the community and government in improving quality. Education units in madrasas. The implication of the less than the optimal revitalization of madrasah leadership has resulted in a decline in the quality of the learning process and the quality of educational outcomes in madrasas.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze excellent service in Madrasahs based on the perspective of social reconstruction by examining public perceptions and expectations of the quality of Madrasah services. This phenomenological research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. To meet the needs of this study, researchers collected data by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The informants in this study included the head of the madrasa, integrated service staff, students, alums, and the madrasah committee. The results of the study indicate that there is urgency in implementing excellent services in madrasas, perceptions of community satisfaction with madrasa services, and the suitability of community expectations with the implementation of madrasa services. This study implies the importance of service in madrasa development activities that focus on customer satisfaction to survive and win the competition amid competition between educational institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and describe the variables that positively influence teachers' OCB so that if the variable is improved, the OCB will increase. This research method begins with determining the conceptual model of teacher OCB, organizational trust, and job satisfaction, whose model is built based on logical validity, concepts, theories, and previous research. Then the conceptual model was tested using path analysis on SMART PLS. This research was conducted at private senior high schools in West Java, Indonesia; the number of samples was 256, determined through multistage proportional random sampling. The findings of this research are: organizational trust affects teacher OCB; organizational trust affects job satisfaction; job satisfaction affects teacher OCB; organizational trust has a positive and significant indirect effect on teacher OCB. This research implies that improving teachers' OCB can be done through improving organizational trust and job satisfaction, including strengthening environmental influences, demonstrating integrity, competence, and policies of the school, improving welfare payments, promotion, supervision, and improving the work atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze about; 1) the influence of principal madrasah leadership on teacher performance; 2) the influence of the work environment on teacher performance; 3) the influence of leadership and work environment together on teacher performance. This study uses primary data through a questionnaire of as many as 391 teacher respondents as a sample of the total number of teachers, as many as 1,790 teachers spread from all Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in South Sulawesi. The results show that together the two independent variables, namely: leadership (X1) and the work environment (X2), have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (Y) which can be shown by the value of F count = 30,872 and Probability (sig) = 0.000 < = 0.05. While the contribution or contribution of the influence of the two independent variables is relatively significant, namely: leadership (X1) and work environment (X2) on teacher performance which can be shown through the value of the determination index (R2) = 0.637 or 63.70% variation in teacher performance and there are 0.363 or 36.30% teacher performance is determined by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison between Islamic and Christian education management in terms of character education. The type of research that will be used quasi experiment with the design of a paired control group (matching pretest-posttest control group design). The results showed that character education in students at STT Biblika Jakarta has adequate intellectual knowledge as a scholar who meets the needs of the community, in the fields of Biblical, Theological, Spiritual Service, and Work in society. In addition, they have the character of a leader of good character and become an example as a clergyman. Do love in his life and imitate Christ. Able to answer people's problems and and live presents peace and love each other. Be a leader with high integrity towards the responsibilities he gives. Able to live socially and bring renewal or innovation in society. Meanwhile, student character education at UIN Maliki Malang, with character education model developed, namely making the figure of ulul albab as the foundation. In developing the character of students, UIN Maliki Malang bases on the historical values of the establishment of Islamic University and Vision, Mission of the college. The theoretical foundation used as a handle in developing character education based on ulul albab is the conception of Islamic teachings and the foundation of educational ilosois. The purpose of character education based on Ulul Albab UIN Maliki Malang is to form a Muslim person who has the values of ulul albab.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the Development of pesantren (Islamic Boarding School's) Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Model Based on the Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP) 2020. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. The data collection technique is done through interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis was carried out in a circular manner, starting from data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results show that pesantren Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Model which refers to the Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP) 2020 was developed with a quality scheme in four main areas:  firstly, the quality of graduates, secondly, the quality of the process, thirdly, the quality of minimum standard achievements, and fourthly, the quality of management. Abstract

This study aims to analyze children's natural intelligence improvement through nature-based learning management at RA Al Khodijah Probolinggo. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. Researchers conducted observations, interviews with principals and teachers, and documentation. Data analysis in this study begins with data collection and reduction and continues with concluding. The results show that nature-based learning effectively increases the natural intelligence of early childhood through nature-based learning, which is an introduction to forms of love for nature or the surrounding environment, such as visiting the zoo, planting trees, and others. Nature-based learning uses nature as teaching material, a place to learn and learn objects, with the concept of a natural school. Students are expected to be able to learn with nature and be able to connect and apply the knowledge gained in real, everyday life.
